I’d not watched this film until this week. A complete bucket list film I was waiting for the right time to see. The 50th anniversary screening was playing in a local cinema and I went for it. 

This film is unbelievably good. Despite being very long, I didn’t want it to end. Every character is superbly acted, the camerawork is magnificent and that culminates in a movie that feels real. 

Just absolutely brilliant.
