Very fun. I’m certain the alternative mayor would surely terrify the intended audience of this film but I loved it

Now this is cinema. Terrific sci-fi horror that’s really worshipping Alien. The soundtrack is excellent, the special effects are great.

My favourite Nolan movie is still Memento after all this. The Odyssey is non-stop, and certainly doesn’t feel like its runtime. Really well acted, casting perfect and definitely something that works on the big screen (The screaming in the cave was …

I had to get the bus to work today when I’d normally cycle. This song immediately popped into my head. Funny how that happens

I keep hearing this song on the radio and LOVE how warm it feels.

It’s got all your horror tropes rolled into one. Even a nice Jaws moment. Tonnes of over-the-top slapstick gore, bits of comic relief and zombies whose favourite word is “bitch”. Great fun

Hello? Is this thing on?
This is my all-time most played song on last.fm, and feels right for it to be the first song ever posted to Trackplanet.

Sleeper hit of the year! Funny, intense, dramatic. The works. Switches genre so well. Love that it’s got that “bottle episode” feel with you never leaving the apartment. Hard to find a single fault
Unmarked can and I’m sure it is this beer
Castlefield Bowl summer shows never disappoint. Wet Leg on Wednesday was another smasher.

It’s so hard to review this! It’s mental. There’s some poor writing (the nurse letting us know about Margaret’s traumatic event was an eye roll), there’s far too many gratuitous shots of an Alfa Romeo (every other car driven in the film is from the …
This is the one!
A few sunny days in Bordeaux just wandering round and loving it.
It’s a scorcher in Bordeaux and it’s beer o’clock

Second film I’ve watched in France on this trip. What a classic. Starting with the ghost story is a touch a genius with the film being one itself. Soundtrack, effects, acting all spot on. I’d LOVE to run a radio station in a lighthouse

Really bold cinema! I loved the super close up shots of everybody throughout. Builds a tension that is added to by everything. How can someone eating lobster be tense? It is here!
No word on ABV but I am assuming high
Very dry, tasty!
Quick half cos it’s Friday

John Williams just let loose. So clear where Spielberg went from here to get to E.T. What a marvellous film that’s aged like a fine wine. The special effects are so good for a film of its age. Spielberg is a visionary!

Forgot to log this one. Formulaic but a fun watch. Really plays with silence, big fan of films doing that.
This is up there with the greats

Awesome. Loved every second of this. Edge of the seat stuff the entire time, beautifully designed, filmed and executed. How can some rooms built off kilter make me uncomfortable?
