Movie Log 🍿: The End of Oak Street, 2026 - ★★★

A homage to the mid 80s family movie. Nothing is explained or really happens after the main plot point is established but we do spend a lot of time trying to run away from dinosaurs. 

The golden rule in this movie is that dinosaurs can destroy anything but if you get behind a closed door, it’s impenetrable and you’re safe. 

Soundtrack was spot on for the kind of film this is aping. Little touches of Close Encounters, a bit of Back to the Future. Well executed, I think just missing a bit more meat on the bone.
